Special Olympics NY Central Region works passionately with Special Olympics New York's 65,665 athletes (2014 census), who participate in our games, which is a privilege for Special Olympics NY CNY to work with. These athletes train & compete year-round in 22 Olympic sports. Our athletes and their families/caregivers are NEVER CHARGED to participate, as Special Olympics covers these expenses. It costs $300 to support training and competition for one athlete for one sports season. It is Special Olympics NY CNY's goal to help as many athletes as possible & give them the wonderful gift of sport.

The Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research to eliminate childhood cancer. Our focus is to find less toxic, more targeted therapies by partnering with 15 leading hospitals nationwide.

Our collaborative research model, the Sunshine Project, is unique and our process to accelerate the development of new treatments holds great promise. This approach has enabled us to launch four clinical trials in…

To date, the charity has built 137 accessible play parks and playgrounds in 100 cities and towns across Russia and CIS. Some of them are located at orphanages, children’s hospitals and rehabilitation centres.

The experience of disability in Natalia’s own family later prompted the development of a new programme entitled Every Child Deserves a Family in 2011. The Foundation believes that children flourish in a…
